Business profile

Dashboard tab: Profile

Your profile is the first thing clients see on search and your booking page. Fill every field — it affects ranking and conversion.

  1. Open Dashboard → Profile.
  2. Add trading name, single best category and a short description.
  3. Add full UK postcode, phone and website — unlocks the map pin and city landing pages.
  4. Set a slug (lushlane.app/salon/your-slug) for Instagram and Google Business.
  5. Click Save. Live within seconds.

Photos & branding

Dashboard tab: Photos

Cover photo, logo and gallery are the single biggest conversion lever on your public page.

  1. Upload a landscape cover (1600×900+) of your actual interior.
  2. Upload a square logo, ideally transparent PNG.
  3. Add 6–12 real gallery photos. Drag to reorder.

Opening hours

Dashboard tab: Hours

Hours control which time slots clients can book — get this right or you'll get bookings outside trading times.

  1. Toggle each day Open/Closed.
  2. Set 24-hour open and close times per weekday.
  3. Click Save Hours — availability updates immediately.

Services & pricing

Dashboard tab: Services

Every service has a name, duration, price and category. Duration is what reserves the slot — be honest.

  1. Click Add service, or use Service Importer / Templates Picker for a one-click standard list.
  2. Set name, duration (incl. cleanup) and price (£).
  3. Assign a category to group services on your booking page.
  4. Save and repeat. Live instantly.

Calendar & scheduling

Dashboard tab: Calendar

Your operational hub. Day, week or month views and walk-ins on the fly.

  1. Switch view: Day / Week / Month from the top-right toggle.
  2. Click any empty slot to add a phone or walk-in booking.
  3. Drag to reschedule — client gets an automatic email.
  4. Use Time Off Manager for lunch, holidays, sick days.

Bookings inbox

Dashboard tab: Bookings

Every online and in-person booking lands here. Confirm, cancel, mark no-show, collect payment.

  1. Filter by upcoming, past, cancelled or no-show; search by client name.
  2. Confirm or cancel — refunds follow your policy.
  3. Mark complete to award loyalty stamps and trigger review request.
  4. Mark no-show to charge the no-show fee on the stored card.

Team management

Dashboard tab: Team

Add staff so clients can choose who they book. Each member gets availability, services and commission.

  1. Add staff: name, role, email, phone (£5/month per active member).
  2. Tick the services they perform — controls who appears in booking flow.
  3. Set commission %, hourly rate or salary for Payroll.
  4. Activate/Deactivate to hide from public booking without losing history.

Client CRM

Dashboard tab: Clients

Every client builds a record. Add notes, tag VIPs, see lifetime spend, contact directly.

  1. Open a client card for full history, notes, photos, spend.
  2. Add private notes (allergies, formulas) — auto-shown next booking.
  3. Use CSV importer to bulk migrate from Booksy, Fresha, Excel.

No-show protection

Dashboard tab: No-Show

Hold a card on file and charge a fee for no-shows. Cuts no-show rate by ~70%.

  1. Enable No-Show Protection and pick threshold (£10 / full / %).
  2. Set the cancellation window (e.g. free up to 24h before).
  3. Stripe stores the card — never on LushLane servers.

Promotions & marketing

Dashboard tab: Promotions

Promo codes, automated email blasts and the seasonal Promotion Hub from one screen.

  1. Create a promo code (% or £ off, usage limits, expiry, services).
  2. Schedule an email blast to all / lapsed 60+ days / VIPs.
  3. Use Marketing Templates for Bank Holidays, Valentine's, etc.

Portfolio gallery

Dashboard tab: Portfolio

A taggable photo wall separate from salon Photos. Tag each shot with the service so it appears in booking flow.

  1. Upload a portfolio piece (single or batch, mobile drag-drop).
  2. Tag the service (e.g. Balayage) — shows as inspiration when booked.

Loyalty programme

Dashboard tab: Loyalty

Digital stamp card. Reward the Nth visit with a free service or discount.

  1. Pick a card design from the Loyalty Card Picker.
  2. Set the reward rule (e.g. every 6th visit = 50% off).
  3. Stamps auto-award on completed bookings.

Payments (Stripe)

Dashboard tab: Payments

Connect Stripe once to take deposits, full payments and no-show fees online. Pro plan.

  1. Click Connect Stripe — ~5 minute Stripe verification flow.
  2. Choose deposit: 0% (pay in salon), partial, or full at booking.
  3. Receive 7-day rolling payouts to your bank.

Analytics & reports

Dashboard tab: Analytics

Revenue, bookings, top services, busiest hours, retention. Export to CSV for your accountant.

  1. Pick a date range — last 7/30/90 days or custom.
  2. Read the cards: revenue, average ticket, new vs returning, no-show rate.
  3. Export CSV — perfect for VAT returns and bookkeeping.

Price intelligence

Dashboard tab: Price Intel

See what other salons in your postcode area charge and decide whether to adjust.

  1. Open Price Intel — benchmarks load from your postcode and category.
  2. Compare per service: green = competitive, amber = off, red = far from market.

Inventory

Dashboard tab: Inventory

Track stock of retail and back-bar products. Get low-stock alerts before you run out.

  1. Add product: name, SKU, current stock, cost, reorder threshold.
  2. Adjust stock with +/- or attach to services for auto-deduction.

Payroll

Dashboard tab: Payroll

Generate weekly or monthly pay runs from completed services plus commission/hourly settings.

  1. Pick pay period: weekly, fortnightly, monthly.
  2. Review calculated totals (commission % + hours + salary).
  3. Export payslip PDFs for staff or accountant.

Memberships

Dashboard tab: Memberships

Sell monthly subscriptions (e.g. £30/mo blow-dry). Charged automatically via Stripe.

  1. Create a plan: name, monthly price, included services / discount %.
  2. Share signup link or sell at checkout in salon. Members get priority booking.

Gift cards

Dashboard tab: Gift Cards

Sell digital gift cards. Code is emailed to the recipient and redeemable at checkout.

  1. Enable gift cards and set denominations (£25, £50, £100, custom).
  2. Recipient gets an email with the code, redeems at checkout.

Google Business sync

Dashboard tab: Google Sync

Pull in your Google reviews and push your LushLane booking link as the 'Book' button on Google Maps.

  1. Click Connect Google Business and complete OAuth.
  2. Reviews import and display on your LushLane page with a Google badge.

Calendar sync

Dashboard tab: Calendar Sync

Two-way sync with Google, Apple and Outlook. Bookings appear instantly in your personal calendar.

  1. Connect Google / iCloud / Outlook (standard ICS, no plug-ins).
  2. Pick one-way (LushLane → personal) or two-way (busy slots block LushLane).

AI receptionist

An AI that answers DMs and missed calls 24/7 — checks availability, books appointments, handles FAQs.

  1. Toggle on — uses your services, hours and FAQ in your tone.
  2. Connect Instagram DMs, WhatsApp, web chat. Hands off to you for anything sensitive.

Email status

See every transactional email LushLane sent on your behalf — delivered, opened, bounced.

  1. Open the Emails tab for a list of recent sends with status.
  2. Re-send a bounced email to a corrected address.

Locations (multi-site)

Dashboard tab: Locations

On the Multi-Location plan run several salons from one login, each with its own staff, services and reports.

  1. Add a new location: name, address, hours (inherits master service list).
  2. Use the top-right switcher to change the whole dashboard context.

Migrations

Dashboard tab: Migrations

Moving from Booksy, Fresha, Treatwell, Square or Timely? Upload a CSV and we'll import clients, services and history.

  1. Export a CSV from your current system (per-platform guides at /help/migration).
  2. Upload here. Self-serve is free; white-glove is paid, charged only when work starts.
