LushLane is the UK's flat-fee booking platform for hair, beauty and wellness salons. £22/month, three staff included, 0% booking commission, free one-page website. Founded 2025, Birmingham.
LushLane is a UK-built booking and management platform for hair, beauty and wellness businesses, launched to end what its founder calls "the marketplace tax".
Where Treatwell can take up to 35% commission on new-client bookings and Fresha charges 20% on Marketplace acquisitions, LushLane charges salons a flat £22 per month for up to three staff and takes 0% booking commission.
The £22 includes online booking, a free one-page salon website, one-click client import, memberships, gift cards, WhatsApp chat-and-book, Google Business Profile sync, payroll, retail inventory and Stripe payments paid directly into the salon's own bank account.
The UK beauty and personal-care industry generated over £28 billion in revenue in 2024 (British Beauty Council). Over 45,000 hair and beauty salons operate in the UK, the majority single-site owner-operators for whom software fees and marketplace commissions are now the second-largest cost line after rent.
"UK salon owners are renting their own clients back from the apps they list on. A mid-sized salon doing £8,000 a month through Treatwell can lose £2,000 of that to commission before they pay rent. We built LushLane so every booking, every client and every penny belongs to the salon."
